The formation of the competences of a philologist is a complete didactic process, in which an important place is occupied by industrial educational and pedagogical practice. This year, students of the Faculty of Philology underwent practical training at the lyceums of Ivano-Frankivsk (full-time form) and in general secondary education institutions of Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, and Poltava regions (part-time form). The director of the educational and scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, associate professor of the Department of General and German Linguistics, Valentina Vasylivna Greshchuk, was the head of the practice.

It is gratifying that the students gained valuable experience and are happy to share their impressions of the internship. Thus, Yuliya Hnatiuk, a student of the UMLf-31 group, major 035 Philology (Ukrainian language and literature) of the III year of the Faculty of Philology of the Prykarpattia National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk, emphasizes the importance of training a philologist teacher in the materials of the article “First steps in the profession”, which was published by the newspaper ” Educational Word” No. 16-17, June 30, 2023.

Yuliya notes that “Practice is an important and interesting stage in a student’s life, a necessary connection between study and professional activity, because we applied our knowledge and skills in real conditions. During the production educational and educational pedagogical practice, we learned to work in a team, to interact with colleagues and supervisors, to solve problems that may arise during tasks. Such a period of study stimulates self-development, creative thinking and the search for new solutions, which prepares students for a successful professional career in the future.”
