On October 25, the director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, candidate of philological sciences, assistant professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language Greshchuk Valentina Vasylivna, together with the UMLso-32 group, as part of the “Literary Space” work of the Faculty of Philology, attended a meeting with modern authors of online texts, where they got acquainted with the first volume of the anthology ” A word hardened by war.” The event took place at the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies “MoPED”.
The moderator of this event was Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of World Literature and Comparative Literature Alla Martynets. All those present had the opportunity to learn a lot of interesting things about the authors who gave their lives for the independence of Ukraine: Yuriy Ruf, Hleb Babich, Ilya Chernilevskyi. The words of their poems have been set to songs that are listened to by thousands of Ukrainians.
This is how the students share their impressions: “We listened to the poetry of Olga Derkachova and Vlasta Vlasenko with great pleasure, learned more about their creative path and had the opportunity to enjoy poetic texts. It was also interesting to meet novice writers. Such meetings are very necessary in our time, and the poetic word brings us closer to VICTORY!”.
