As part of the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, Valentyna Greshchuk, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, together with leading specialists of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Oleksandra Kuzyshyn and Solomiya Rybchak, participated in writing the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity. This year, the author of the dictation was writer Oksana Zabuzhko, and the reader was poet and military man Pavlo Vyshebaba.
Every year, the radio dictation has an important mission – to be a symbol of national unity, to remind of the power of the Ukrainian language, its importance in the present time. In addition, it is an opportunity for Ukrainians who are in different parts of the world to feel part of a large community united by language, culture and common values.
