Yesterday the first stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-presentation of research works of students-members of the Small Academy of Sciences took place. The director of our Institute was a member of the jury in the linguistics section. Young philologists presented interesting research on current linguistic topics. It is gratifying that among the proposed topics was Hutsul speech in the work of Petro Shekeryk-Donykiv “Dido Ivanchik” (Semenyuk Sofia, a student of 10th grade Kalush Lyceum named after Dmytro Bakhmatyuk). Considerable and popular was the study of syntax problems, namely incomplete sentences in the work of Marcus Zuzak “Book Thief” (Zelyk Victoria, a student of 9th grade Ivano-Frankivsk Academic Boarding School). We wish them success in their further scientific activities!
The director of our Institute also conducted career guidance work with young researchers, telling them about the benefits of studying at the Faculty of Philology and employment prospects. The girls showed great interest in entering the Faculty of Philology, so we wish them the realization of future dreams!
