An important segment of studies at the Faculty of Philology is practical training. This year, under the leadership of the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Associate Professor of the Department of General and German Linguistics Greshchuk Valentyna Vasylivna, graduate students (Tetyana Skrypnyk, Vitaliya Marynets and Vitaliya Popovych) underwent industrial practice at the Faculty of Philology (assistant, pedagogical, language).Master's students conducted interesting classes with students of higher education. Vitalia Marynets gave an introductory lecture on the discipline "Local dialects and literary language: methodological principles of study at school" for students of the 4th year of the Uzso-41 group on the topic "Ukrainian literary language and territorial dialects in their interaction at different historical stages" (teacher Mykhailo Vasylyovych Bigusiak).
Tetyana Skrypnyk held a lecture on the subject "Ukrainian dialectology" for 2nd year students, group UMLf-21 on the topic "Dialectology as a special branch of linguistics" (teacher Mykhailo Vasylyovych Bigusiak).
Vitalia Popovych gave a lecture on the discipline "Local dialects and literary language: methodological principles of study at school" for students of the 4th year of the Uzso-41 group on the topic "Methodological aspects of studying the school course of phonetics of the literary language in the conditions of a dialectal environment" (teacher Mykhailo Vasyliovych Bigusiak).
Students of higher education were convinced that professional practice (assistant, teaching, language) at the university contributes to the deepening and systematization of theoretical knowledge from professional disciplines and enables them to be applied in practical work. Thanks to the opportunity to observe the work of teachers and interns, the students managed to conduct classes independently. Working on the development of lesson notes and directly conducting them enriched their pedagogical experience and made it clear that it is necessary to continue to improve the skills of working with a student audience and expand one's erudition.
The language issue is particularly relevant today, so let's remember that we all need to learn and cherish our native language, because the Ukrainian word "is a weapon, it is strength, it is the nerve of the nation" (Valentina Hreshchuk).
