It is not a profession that chooses a person, but a person chooses a profession (Socrates)

Under the leadership of the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Germanic Linguistics – Valentina Vasylivna Greshchuk, Master’s student of the Faculty of Philology (Uzmf-11) Vitalia Popovych held a lecture and practical session and an educational event under the slogan “We will overcome you, enemy, with our native word” . One of the important elements during the internship is career orientation work, which the master’s student organized on the basis of the Zamulinetsky Lyceum of the Mateivetska TG with students of the 10th – 11th grades.

During the meeting with future applicants, Vitalya talked about the specifics and effective study at the university, in particular at the Faculty of Philology, about the university website, forms of study, specialties that they can acquire by studying with us, and also introduced the faculty management and noted the high professionalism of the professor – teaching staff. Vitalia Popovych focused the attention of secondary education students on the fact that the Faculty of Philology promotes the opportunity for students to get an education and work at the same time.

The students were interested in the information about free online preparation for the NMT in the Ukrainian language. In the form of a dialogue, lyceum students expressed interest in the Faculty of Philology and promised to register for online training for the NMT.

At the end of the meeting, they watched a video of the presentation of Valentina Greschuk’s collection “We will meet where there will be no war…”. The students enthusiastically participated in the expressive reading of poetry. The meeting ended on a lyrical note “TOGETHER TO VICTORY!”

The master’s student is grateful to Valentina Vasylivna Greshchuk for the poems that bring us closer to victory, and to the teachers of Zamulinetsky Lyceum for organizing career guidance work.

We wish Vitalya creative success, and good luck to the entrants.
