Students of the 3rd year of the Faculty of Philology, specialty “014. Secondary education (Ukrainian language and literature)”: Yuliya Kravets, Andriy Maksimiv, Tetiana Hlovlyuk, Diana Voytovych, Diana Duda, Yuliya Danyliuk, Iryna Melnyk and Diana Idushkevich under the guidance of the director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies , Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assistant Professor of the Department of General and German Linguistics Greshchuk Valentyna Vasylivna and Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language Greshchuk Vasyl Vasyliovych organized a meeting with students of grades 10-11 of Lyceum No. 7 of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council.
Valentina Vasylivna, head of practice Greshchuk, addressed the future applicants with a welcome speech and introduced the lyceum students to the specifics of the educational process, outlined the prospects and opportunities provided by our university. It is gratifying that the lyceum students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Valentina Vasylivna’s poetry collection “We will meet where there will be no war…”, as well as to enjoy the poems that the author recited for the audience. Valentina Vasylivna’s poetic texts clearly reflect the realities of today, depict the beauty of the native land, the valor of our soldiers, praise the power of the native word, and are imbued with faith in victory. The poetic word and the author’s stories about the writing and publishing of the collection were of great interest to the lyceum students, and also made it possible to see for themselves that the word is of great importance and is a weapon in our fight against the enemy.
The undergraduates, in turn, told the lyceums about the advantages of studying at the Faculty of Philology, the teaching staff, opportunities to reveal their abilities, scientific and public work, and interesting leisure time.
We wish the future entrants not to make a mistake in choosing a profession and look forward to them in the walls of the Carpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk, in particular at the Faculty of Philology.
