Academic Council of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University

On November 12, a meeting of the Academic Council of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University was held. According to the agenda, the issue of organizing and conducting all types of internships: educational, production (pedagogical, in a specific non-pedagogical specialty) at the University at the current stage and promising tasks for the future was considered (the head of the production (educational) internship department, Yaroslava Vasylyshyn, reported). Co-speakers were: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Primary Education Pedagogy, Head of the Creative Educational and Scientific Laboratory of the International Project “Mountain School of the Ukrainian Carpathians” Inna Chervinska (“Practical training of higher education applicants through the creative educational and scientific laboratory “Mountain School of the Ukrainian Carpathians”), Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine Tamara Halytska-Didukh (“On cooperation during industrial practices with practice bases for the purpose of effective career guidance”.

The director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language Valentyna Vasylivna Greshchuk reported on innovative approaches in the methodology of teaching the Ukrainian language during the preparation for industrial educational and educational practice of students. Valentyna Vasylivna spoke about the creative project “Preparing for Practice”, which she launched in 2018, its main goal and areas of work; with the help of The presentation highlighted the main points of preparing students for production teaching and educational pedagogical practice in classes on “Methodology of Teaching the Ukrainian Language”, namely: modeling different types of lessons, optional and extracurricular activities, introducing innovative methods into the educational process, creating video lessons and career guidance videos, publishing in the newspaper “Osvityanske Slovo”, mastering the programs of the National School of Education, inclusive education, etc. Valentina Vasylivna emphasized close cooperation with teachers-methodologists, whom she invites to lessons, master’s students and graduates of the Faculty of Philology who have successfully completed their studies and work in their specialty at the ZZSO. Both teachers-methodologists and senior colleagues give higher education applicants useful methodological advice and recommendations that should be taken into account during their practice. All types of work outlined by Valentina Vasylivna help to comprehensively prepare students for production teaching and educational pedagogical practice, allow them to establish themselves positively, and, under favorable conditions, take care of future employment.
