Under the leadership of the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Valentyna Vasylivna Greschuk, and Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Vasyl Vasylivna Greschuk, on December 16, 2024, a student of the UMLso-31 group of the Faculty of Philology, Yulia Khudak, held a career orientation meeting with applicants for general secondary education at the Manyavsky Lyceum of the Solotvynsky Settlement Council of the Ivano-Frankivsk District of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region.
The event was dedicated to the topic “Faculty of Philology – a space of opportunities for talented youth”. During the meeting, high school students got acquainted with the features of admission, the list of educational programs and the specifics of studying at the Faculty of Philology. The participants of the event watched a career guidance video created by students of the UMLso-31 group, enjoyed poetry from the collection “We will meet where there will be no war” by Valentyna Greshchuk and received meaningful answers to their own questions.
The organizer of the event, Yulia Khudak (a student of the UMLso-31 group), states:
“Career guidance work is one of the important aspects of the activity to search for young talents who will join the ranks of students in the future.”
So, we expect capable applicants within the walls of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
