Today, June 8, the State Examination Commission started work at the Faculty of Philology. Students of the 4th year of the specialty 014.01 Secondary education (Ukrainian language and literature) of the correspondence form of education successfully passed the state exam on the modern Ukrainian language and its teaching methods and defended their diploma theses. Scientific research was devoted to topical issues of the Ukrainian language and its teaching methods: “Household vocabulary in the speech of Bytkiv village, Nadvirnya district, Ivano-Frankivsk region: dynamic aspect” (Zaychuk T. V), “Feminitives with a foreign language component of inter- in the modern Ukrainian language: creation, writing and use” (I. I. Likhtei), ” Stylistic features of emotional and expressive means of Irene Rozdobudko’s novel “The Button” and the method of their study at school” (M. R. Lyulchak), ” Feminitives from the foreign language component of super- in the modern Ukrainian language: creation, writing and use” (Mentazyuk A. I.), “Emotional and expressive means of the artistic language of O. Kobylyanska’s story “The Queen” and the method of their study at school” (Romanyuk Y. V. ), “Lexical richness of the native language: extracurricular work” (Tomeichuk M. I.), “Educational and methodological aspects of the development of lexical competence of students in secondary school” (Chovgan N. S.).

The examiner of the State Attestation Commission was the director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, assistant professor of the Department of General and German Linguistics Valentina Greschuk.
