Today, June 15, full-time students of the 4th year of the specialty 014.01 Secondary education (Ukrainian language and literature) successfully defended their diploma theses and passed the state exam on modern Ukrainian language and teaching methods. Scientific studies devoted to issues of linguistics and linguistic didactics were notable for their relevance and novelty: “Lexico-stylistic text analysis as a means of improving the communicative skills of high school students” (Galyas Yu.), “Grammatical status and functional-semantic features of the adverb in the Ukrainian language (based on the novel I . Bagryany “Garden of Gethsemane”)” (Zavadska A.), “Adverbs in Oresta Osiichuk’s novel “The Apricot Bookstore” as material for study in Ukrainian language classes” (Kalyn V.), “Single-syllable sentences in Ivan Malkovich’s poetic text as material for study in Ukrainian language classes” (Kalyn T.), “Lexical repetition in the text of Valery Shevchuk’s novel “The House on the Mountain”” (V. Kosiv), “Means of creating a verbal and aesthetic picture of the world (based on the artistic texts of V. Lys)” (Magey V.), “Development of students’ text creation skills in native language lessons” (Melnyk A.), “Speaking lexicon of p. Chagriv of the Rohatyn district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region as a material for studying the Ukrainian language in secondary school” (Y. Oshytko), “Bohdan Tomenchuk’s poetic texts as a didactic material during the study of the Ukrainian language” (Pidgurska Yu.), “Ethnolinguistic features of Ukrainian paremies with a zoonymic component and the method of their study at school” (Pochynok Z.), “Grammatical status and functional-semantic features of the infinitive in the Ukrainian language (based on Lesya Ukrainka’s dramas)” (Prykhodko O.).

The examiners of the State Attestation Commission, including the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Associate Professor of the Department of General and German Linguistics Valentyna Greschuk, noted the high level of training of the students, namely: Kruk A., Galyas Yu, Kalin V., Kalyn T., Oshytko Ya and Pidgurska Yu.
