Industrial educational pedagogical practice gives good results

The 5th week of industrial educational pedagogical practice lasts at the Faculty of Philology. Bachelor Svitlana Hradyuk organized a meeting with eleventh-graders of Nadvirna Lyceum №1 named after Vyacheslav Chornovil. The student held an educational event: “Irina Yatsura – a prominent courtier, poet, teacher.” Participants of the event recalled the difficult life, but very creative path of the poet, watching a presentation prepared by the bachelor, read the books of Irina Yatsura, as well as high school students recited poetry and fables.

Here is how Svitlana shares her impressions: “People say that when at least one soul remembers a person, it means that he lived in the world for a reason. Such was Irina Yatsura. In a friendly, sincere atmosphere we honored the memory of the poet and everyone took something new for themselves. I am sincerely grateful to everyone who helped organize today’s meeting: 11th grade class teacher Oksana Ivanivna, Ukrainian language and literature teacher Lydia Bohdanivna and all lyceum students”.

During the meeting, the student shared with the entrants her own experience of studying at the Faculty of Philology and invited them to study here, told about interesting moments of student life, exciting couples, literary evenings and various events that take place within the faculty. The meeting was attended by the director of our Institute Valentyna Greshchuk, who spoke in more detail about studying at the Faculty of Philology. It is interesting that Iryna Yatsura often visited Valentyna Greshchuk’s native village of Ripny, Rozhnyativ district, as Yaroslav Yatsura, the poet’s husband and a relative of Valentyna Vasylivna’s sister, was born there. Once again, we are convinced that the world is very close. The atmosphere of the meeting was friendly and pleasant.

Svitlana’s colleague Maryana Streletska conducted a lesson on the topic: “Negative pronouns. Their formation and spelling” with students of 6-B class of lyceum №15 of Ivano-Frankivsk city council. Lyceum students found out what negative pronouns indicate, learned the spelling rules of this category, learned to recognize and form negative pronouns, as well as use them in oral and written speech. The lesson left behind many emotions, including positive ones, and brought a valuable experience. The director of our Institute Valentyna Greshchuk and the head of the Ukrainian language department, professor Vasyl Greshchuk, attended the class and kindly provided methodical recommendations and wished the students a successful further internship.
