Dear teachers, students, graduate students, employees and graduates of the university! Our freshmen!
Congratulations on Knowledge Day! With the beginning of the new school year!
It is significant that this holiday of science and education begins the school year, which always means the opening of a new, and at the same time, difficult path – the road to knowledge, discoveries and accomplishments.
Despite the new challenges that the university had to face during the pandemic, we managed to properly ensure the continuity of the educational process, quality and sustainability of education, to maintain its leadership position among domestic higher education institutions.
Currently, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University ranks first among higher education institutions in Ukraine in the international ranking SciMago Institutions Rankings 2021, which includes scientific results, innovation and social activities. It also ranks 12th in the ranking of domestic higher education institutions according to the international scientometric database Scopus. For several years in a row, Prykarpatsky has been in the TOP-20 best universities of Ukraine, in the TOP-10 best classical universities of Ukraine, TOP-10 best institutions of higher education in the western region of Ukraine and is the LEADER of higher education institutions in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The accumulated potential of not one or two years, but decades, today allows us to say that the Precarpathian University has entered the cohort of leading universities in Ukraine. This is a huge success of our whole team.
The university is growing – in the new academic year, the ranks of students of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University were replenished with more than two and a half thousand freshmen. We are sure that your first school year will be a period of new ideas, discoveries and achievements. Our university has all the prerequisites for you not only to receive a European-style education, but also to fully develop your talents in community service, creativity and sports.
On the occasion of the holiday we congratulate the graduates of our university. Confidence in your abilities, creative inspiration, cherish and multiply the traditions of your native Alma Mater.
We express our gratitude to the teaching staff of the University for their daily work, significant personal contribution to the development of national education and science, selfless service to the chosen cause – teaching and educating a new generation of Ukrainians.
The new 2021-2022 school year also begins in special conditions. So, for all of us – teachers, students, graduate students and university staff – let it be filled with fruitful work, new initiatives and successful results.
Happy Holiday!
