esterday, May 23, leading specialists of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies Rybchak Solomiya and Oleksandra Kuzyshyn attended the presentation of the poetry collection “Heart” by the writer, doctor of philological sciences, professor of Vasyl Stefanyk National University of Prykarpattia, Olga Derkachova.

The moderator of the meeting, Ivan Monolatii, noted: “Olga Derkacheva is known to all of us as a writer of a good quality, a writer who masterfully uses the artistic word. Of course, fans of Olga Derkacheva guessed that she writes poetry. I’m sorry that this compilation is being released during a full-scale war. This could not but be reflected in the content of the poems. There is pain and sadness here, hope for victory, determination to live. Olga Derkachova is known as the author of a dissertation on the poetry of the 20th century. I think it is very felt.”

The highlight of the event was that, in addition to the poetic texts included in the presented collection, Olga Derkachova read the text that will be included in the next one. We are glad that thanks to our defenders, we are able to attend such events and popularize the Ukrainian word.
