This time, under the guidance of the director of our Institute Valentyna Greshchuk, master Yulia Melnyk conducted career guidance work with high school students of the Zarichansky Lyceum named after Volodymyr Yavorsky.
Here is how the student shares her impressions:
“Industrial educational practice of masters (014 secondary education (Ukrainian language and literature) is a special experience. An important component of our work is career guidance meetings with future entrants. Following the guidance of my methodologist, Professor Vasyl Greshchuk, I managed to hold an event at the Volodymyr Yavorsky Lyceum in Zarichany. I told the eleventh-graders of my native village about an interesting and rich life at the Faculty of Philology. It is very good that one of the tasks of the course “Methods of studying the Ukrainian language” (teacher: Associate Professor of General and German Linguistics Cathedra Valentyna Greshchuk) in the 4th year of bachelor was to prepare a video about meaningful studies at the Faculty of Philology, which I really needed today.
Valentyna Greshchuk and I tried to show as accurately and clearly as possible all the delights of student life and outline the prospects for future employment, which is very important for today’s youth. It turns out that such meetings are very necessary, because today I saw interested people and I hope that among the high school students there are those who will join our philological family next year”.
We hope that such fruitful and useful meetings will help entrants to make the right choice in the future.
