On January 31, at Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University, the Scientific and Technical Council began its work on the presentation and approval of the reports of the heads of institutes, faculties and educational and scientific units on the results of scientific activity for 2023.
During the report on the activities of the educational and scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, the leading specialist Oleksandra Kuzyshyn presented the main results of the Institute’s work in several directions, in particular: scientific, educational and methodological, career guidance, cooperation with other higher education institutions and editorial offices, etc. The main achievements of the Institute of Ukrainian Studies were noted, including:
- Compilation of the Appendix “Onymous Lexicon” (authors Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language Vasyl Vasyliovych and Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language, Director of the Educational Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies Greshchuk Valentina Vasylivna) to the two-volume dictionary “Hutsul Dialect Lexicon and Phrasemics in Ukrainian” has been completed artistic language”;
- prepared and compiled the dictionary “Stylistics of the Ukrainian language. A short dictionary of terms”;
- developed Methodological recommendations for conducting lessons on the Ukrainian language in general secondary education institutions (Vocabulary and Phraseology; Morphology; Word Structure and Word Formation; Phonetics, Orthography, Spelling; Stylistics and culture of speech; Syntax and Punctuation);
- a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Research Institute of Ukrainian Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and (Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies) Prykarpattia National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
