The reporting online scientific conference of teachers, doctoral students, graduate students and students of the University for 2021 continues its work at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
Today a remote plenary session of the section of the Faculty of Philology took place, which was joined by the director of our Institute Valentyna Greshchuk, as well as leading experts Natalia Dranitsyna and Anna Shkoruta. Doctor of Philology, Professor Natalia Maftyn described the sacred vocabulary in her report on the topic “Early prose of Hryhoriy Shton through the prism of eco-criticism (“Pastoral” collection)”. Doctor of Philology, Professor Ivanna Devdyuk presented her thorough work on the topic “Chronotope of War in the story” Carpathian Night “by Myroslav Irchan and the novel” Death of a Hero “by Richard Aldington”.
There was also a meeting of the subsection of word formation and dialect vocabulary of the Ukrainian language (head – Doctor of Philology, Professor Vasyl Greshchuk). Our leading specialists presented their research “Introduction of a new spelling in the field of education and culture” (Natalia Dranitsyna) and “Structural and word-forming characteristics of microtoponyms of Pidpechery village, Tysmenytsia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region” (Anna Shkoruta).
