February 14 is traditionally considered the International Book Giving Day. The goal of this promotion is to inspire people all over the world to give a book as a gift: to a library, to a friend, to family members. This day instills a love of reading and unites all those who are in love with books.

Recently, the 2nd regional stage of the 17th International Competition in Ukrainian Studies for students of grades 8-11 of general secondary education was held. It is gratifying that on the day of the donation of books, the head of the jury, director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies, candidate of philological sciences, assistant professor of the Ukrainian language department of the Prykarpattia National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk Greshchuk, Valentina Vasylivna, presented all the participants of the competition with the book “Ukrainian Studies: Documents, Materials, Rarities”, which issued by the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ukrainian Studies at the Carpathian National University. We hope that the contestants will get a lot of interesting and informative information that will inspire them for further scientific achievements.
